Join correspondent, Tom Wilmer in Helena, Arkansas at the King Biscuit Blues Festival where he visits with blues legend, Kenny Neal. Born in New Orleans and raised in Baton Rouge. Neal was introduced to the blues tradition by his father, Raful, who was a singer and harmonica player and close friends with Lazy Lester, Buddy Guy, Slim Harpo, and other masters. Neal has won numerous industry awards, including the Monterey Bay Blues “Artists of the Year”, Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, West Coast Blues Hall of Fame, four-time Grammy nominee, and recipient of a “World Award” for starring on Broadway. Kenny will be a headliner at the Santa Barbara Blues Society Birthday bash this March 21st at 8 p.m. Be there or be square!
